Working Principle: Detector and loop data from SDS-48 are received over the bus, processed internally, and presented on the display. Pre-alarms, faults, and acknowledgement states are driven through LED hierarchy and dry contacts.
Installation Requirements: Mount flush in a weatherproof enclosure up to IP54. Install behind the front cover in bridge stations, engine rooms, or panel cabinets. Provide 24 VDC stabilized supply within 18 to 32 VDC. Terminate RS485 and SDS-48 bus with correct polarity and grounding.
Usage Precautions: Perform button-life and LED self-check during planned maintenance. Do not apply outside 32 VDC. Verify Marine/SOLAS firmware revision before commissioning. Replace if LCD contrast, LED brightness, or bus communication degrades.
