• • Inputs: 8 individual input channels
  • Outputs: 2 output relays (A and B) — (Note: DEIF official states 3 relay outputs, one for audible/visual alarm, two programmable)

• Functional Features:
  • Each input channel can be individually programmed for N/O or N/C contact response.
  • Output relay A and/or B can be assigned to activate based on specific input channel alarms.
  • “Inhibit” function allows temporary disabling of specific alarm channels to prevent nuisance alarms during maintenance.
  • Cable supervision detects and indicates cable failure on input channels (requires 1 kΩ resistor).
  • Time-delayed alarm registration (0–40 s) filters out transient false alarms.
  • In master/slave configuration, alarms and horn output can be reset centrally from the master unit.
  • First alarm identification: clearly identifies the first alarm received among successive alarms for rapid troubleshooting.
• Application Scenarios: Centralized alarm monitoring in industrial plants, marine applications, and other environments requiring reliable alarm annunciation. Capable of triggering external devices such as horns, lights, or other control systems.
• Programming Interface: Three push-buttons: “CHANNEL SELECT,” “FUNCTION SELECT,” and “ENTER.” Pressing the “PRG” button enters programming mode (indicated by green “PRG” LED).
• Usage Notes: Mount via panel mount; ensure proper cable supervision resistor (1 kΩ) is installed across external alarm contacts when cable failure detection is required. For master/slave configurations, maintain max. distance of 50 cm between units.
