Product Overview:
The Bender 107TL47 is an insulation monitoring device (ISOMETER®) that monitors the insulation resistance of single-phase and three-phase AC IT systems in medical locations. It also monitors the IT system transformer for overload and overtemperature. When combined with the MK2430 alarm indicator and test unit, it complies with DIN VDE 0100-710 and IEC 60364-7-710 requirements.

Working Principle:
The device continuously measures insulation resistance between the monitored IT system and earth. When measured values exceed the limiting value (insulation resistance, load current, or temperature), an alarm is initiated—the alarm relay switches, the ALARM LED lights up, and a message appears on the LC display. The alarm message is transferred via a two-wire interface to remote MK2430 alarm indicators, immediately informing technical or medical staff.

The highest value of the load current is evaluated by the electronics and made available at the input k/l of the 107TL47.

Measuring leads to system, PE, current transformer, and temperature sensor are continuously monitored; interruption or short-circuit triggers a message.

Function can be verified by pressing the integrated Test button.

Cable length for remote communication must not exceed 50 m.
