VE4003S3B1 is passive field wiring terminal base for DeltaV Classic I/O system. It provides wiring interface between field instruments and analog input module, transmits analog signals without signal conversion function. Working Principle
Field sensor cables connect to screw terminals of termination block. Metal conductive strips inside the base transmit raw analog signals directly to the plugged I/O module. No signal amplification, conversion or processing occurs inside the termination block.

Installation Requirements
- Mount termination block onto DeltaV Classic I/O carrier fixed on DIN rail

- Complete all wiring before installing corresponding I/O module
- Follow plant unified grounding specification for cable shield connection
Usage Notes
- Do not exceed rated wire size for each terminal
- Avoid placing termination block at positions with direct air flow of cooling fan
- Prevent conductive dust, moisture and corrosive gas accumulation inside cabinet
- Check terminal tightness periodically during scheduled maintenance
- Observe ESD protection when installing adjacent electronic modules
- Do not connect AC high voltage signal to analog signal terminals
