Working Principle
120VAC field switch contact signals pass through current-limiting resistors and surge suppression components, then optocoupler isolation circuits convert AC voltage signals to digital logic levels readable by DeltaV DI function cards. Isolation barrier eliminates ground loop interference from high-voltage field equipment.

Installation & Usage Rules
