Working Principle
Built-in low-power high-current power resistance connected in series between auxiliary power input and excitation regulator power input. When power is switched on, the resistance consumes instantaneous surge energy to limit peak current amplitude; after circuit current stabilizes, the resistance only bears minimal steady-state voltage drop without affecting normal power supply of the AVR regulator.

Installation Requirements
- Direct snap onto 35mm standard DIN rail inside generator control cabinet, leave ≥10mm heat dissipation gap around the module
- Series connect the module’s IN terminal to auxiliary power source, OUT terminal to excitation regulator power input
- Tighten terminal screws with torque of 1.2N·m to prevent poor contact heating
- Do not install in fully sealed cabinet without ventilation; heat accumulation will cause resistance aging
- Separate wiring from signal cables to avoid induced voltage interference

Operation & Maintenance Precautions
- Do not short-circuit IN and OUT terminals, which will completely lose surge suppression protection
- Regularly check terminal temperature during long-term operation; surface temperature exceeding 80°C indicates abnormal overload
- Measure internal resistance with ohmmeter during maintenance; if open circuit or short circuit occurs, replace the module immediately
- Avoid installing near heat sources such as contactors and transformers
- Do not modify internal resistance circuit privately; changing resistance value will cause protection failure
