FC-SAI-1620M is SIL3 certified analog safety input module for Honeywell Safety Manager SIS system, collecting 4–20mA analog signal transmitted from field pressure, temperature, flow safety transmitters. It converts analog current signal into digital engineering value and uploads to safety main controller for safety threshold interlock calculation, applied to continuous process variable safety monitoring loops.

- Slide horizontally into FC-RPB2N12 backplane standard slot, lock front panel fixing buckle
- Field transmitter wiring use shielded twisted pair cable, single-point grounding at cabinet safety ground row
- Each channel two-wire loop wire length maximum limit 800 meters, over-length add signal repeater
- Reserve 20mm vertical ventilation gap between adjacent modules
- Cabinet internal temperature maintain within 0℃ ~ +70℃
Usage Precautions
- Forbid connecting voltage signal directly to analog input channel, will burn front-end sampling resistance and isolation optocoupler
- Two-wire transmitter power supply must match module built-in loop power standard, do not connect external additional power supply
- After module replacement complete channel analog signal calibration test
- Quarterly inspection of terminal wiring tightening status to avoid loose wire break false fault alarm
- Avoid installing near high-power frequency converter strong electromagnetic interference equipment
