Working Principle
Dual GNSS antennas transmit GPS and GLONASS satellite RF signals to DPS112 internal low-noise RF receiving circuit, which demodulates satellite navigation ephemeris and pseudo-range measurement data. The built-in L-band receiver continuously receives Fugro Seastar G2 global differential correction data via dedicated L-band antenna, transmitting correction parameters to the positioning calculation processor. The main computing chip combines raw satellite observation data and differential correction data to resolve vessel three-dimensional coordinates, velocity and heading at fixed 1 Hz update frequency. Calculated positioning data is simultaneously output to multiple communication interfaces for transmission to ship DP control system and navigation monitoring equipment. Front-panel LCD and keypad circuit realize local parameter configuration and real-time state query, while internal PTC heating film activates automatically when ambient temperature drops below 0 ℃ to maintain RF circuit operating temperature stability. The aluminum rack housing with anti-salt-fog coating and internal EMI shielding cavity suppress marine electromagnetic interference and salt fog corrosion damage.

Installation Requirements
- Install the DPS112 unit inside ship control room standard 19-inch marine rack cabinet, fix with matched rack mounting ears and M6 stainless steel screws
- GNSS antenna and L-band correction antenna must be mounted on vessel open deck without overhead structural signal occlusion
- All antenna signal cables use marine-grade shielded coaxial cable with anti-salt-fog outer sheath, cable connectors coated with waterproof anti-corrosion grease
- Control cabinet must be equipped with dehumidification heating equipment to maintain internal relative humidity below 80% RH
- DC24V power supply connected to vessel marine isolated power distribution bus, separated from high-power propulsion equipment power circuit
Usage Precautions
- Regularly clean front panel LCD display ventilation filter cotton every 30 days to prevent salt fog dust blockage of heat dissipation grille
- Execute annual antenna cable insulation resistance test to avoid seawater infiltration-induced signal attenuation
- Renew Fugro Seastar G2 differential correction service subscription to maintain decimeter positioning accuracy
- Do not cut off DC24V power supply during firmware upgrade via USB port; power interruption causes receiver program corruption
- Avoid installing the unit adjacent to ship radar and high-power VHF radio equipment to prevent RF signal interference
- Replace built-in PTC heating film assembly every 5 years to guarantee low-temperature stable operation in polar offshore marine environments
