Application Scenarios
Industrial machine control cabinet auxiliary power supply over/undervoltage trip protection, marine vessel low-voltage distribution panel monitoring, elevator control power supply fault interlock, UPS backup power voltage abnormal alarm, chemical plant instrument control power protection
Material Composition & Structural Characteristics
- Relay Housing: Flame-retardant black thermosetting plastic DIN rail mount housing
- Electromagnetic Core Assembly: Laminated silicon steel plunger core with copper excitation coil
- Contact Material: Silver cadmium oxide alloy contact points for anti-arcing and long service life
- Mounting Standard: 35mm standard DIN rail snap mounting structure
- Protection Grade: IP40 housing front panel protection
Working Principle
- Monitored AC voltage enters internal excitation coil to generate proportional electromagnetic suction force on plunger core
- When voltage rises above preset overvoltage threshold or drops below undervoltage threshold, electromagnetic force changes to overcome spring tension and pull plunger core actuate contact switch
- Contact state change outputs digital trip or alarm signal to external circuit breaker trip coil or PLC digital input terminal
- Mechanical indicator flag pops out simultaneously to record voltage fault status until manual reset operation
Installation Requirements
- Snap mount on standard 35mm DIN rail inside low-voltage distribution cabinet, install adjacent to monitored power supply circuit terminal block
- Monitoring voltage wiring use 1.0–2.5mm² solid copper wire, tighten terminal screw torque to 1.2N·m
- Avoid installation adjacent to high-current contactors to prevent electromagnetic interference causing false voltage trip
- Ambient cabinet relative humidity maintain 5–95% non-condensing, no corrosive gas environment
Usage Precautions
- Do not use for continuous operation near pickup voltage threshold (±10% rated voltage range), frequent contact switching accelerates contact ablation
- Regularly clean contact surface oxide layer every 12 months in humid coastal industrial environments
- Do not connect inductive load (solenoid, relay coil) directly to contact terminals without freewheeling diode suppression circuit
- Re-calibrate voltage threshold dial after long-term cabinet vibration or equipment relocation to guarantee monitoring accuracy
