T8431C is the upgraded revised hardware universal analog input module supporting multiple sensor signal types without separate barrier modules for non-hazardous safe zone equipment. It accepts 4–20 mA transmitters, ±10 V voltage signals, RTD PT100 temperature sensors and thermocouple inputs, with triple redundant sampling architecture for SIL3 safety control systems. The C variant features enhanced EMC noise suppression circuitry for high-electrical-noise power plant environments.
