Working Principle

  2. Thermal resistance resistance value changes linearly with ambient temperature; module high-precision ADC converts resistance voltage drop signal into digital value.
  3. Internal chip executes EN 60751 standard Pt linearization algorithm to convert raw resistance data into direct temperature numerical value transmitted to X20 CPU via X-Bus backplane.
  4. Real-time circuit detection circuit judges sensor wire open/short circuit state; set channel fault bit in bus data register once abnormal wiring detected, front panel fault LED lights up synchronously.

Operation & Maintenance Precautions

  1. Do not plug/unplug module under live backplane bus power; power off CPU base station before module replacement
  2. Pt100/Pt1000 sensor wiring cannot be mixed on single channel, must set corresponding sensor type via B&R Automation Studio software
  3. Regularly check terminal block spring clamping tightness every 6 months; loose wire causes temperature sampling jump fluctuation
  4. Do not use unshielded single-core wire for long-distance temperature signal transmission, severe electromagnetic noise will lead to measurement deviation
  5. Module cannot be used in environment with condensation water vapor inside cabinet; water vapor will damage isolation circuit and cause short-circuit
