Working Principle
- 24VDC backplane bus supplies power to module internal ADC sampling circuit; constant small measurement current output to Pt100/Pt1000 thermal resistance sensor.
- Thermal resistance resistance value changes linearly with ambient temperature; module high-precision ADC converts resistance voltage drop signal into digital value.
- Internal chip executes EN 60751 standard Pt linearization algorithm to convert raw resistance data into direct temperature numerical value transmitted to X20 CPU via X-Bus backplane.
- Real-time circuit detection circuit judges sensor wire open/short circuit state; set channel fault bit in bus data register once abnormal wiring detected, front panel fault LED lights up synchronously.
- Built-in 500Hz low-pass filter suppress high-frequency electromagnetic interference noise on sensor signal line to ensure stable temperature sampling value.

Installation Requirements

- Separate temperature signal wiring from power/inverter cable trunking, routing distance ≥ 20cm to avoid interference
- Do not install module close to heat source such as heating pipes, cooling fan required if cabinet ambient temperature over 50°C
- X20TB terminal block spring clamp wire insertion depth ≥ 8mm, ensure complete wire contact inside spring clip

Operation & Maintenance Precautions
- Do not plug/unplug module under live backplane bus power; power off CPU base station before module replacement
- Pt100/Pt1000 sensor wiring cannot be mixed on single channel, must set corresponding sensor type via B&R Automation Studio software
- Regularly check terminal block spring clamping tightness every 6 months; loose wire causes temperature sampling jump fluctuation
- Do not use unshielded single-core wire for long-distance temperature signal transmission, severe electromagnetic noise will lead to measurement deviation
- Module cannot be used in environment with condensation water vapor inside cabinet; water vapor will damage isolation circuit and cause short-circuit
