Working Principle

Dual isolated signal processing circuits operate in parallel within single module hardware. Discrete input circuit samples binary contact closure signals from field limit switches, solenoid feedback and proximity sensors. Analog input channel circuit converts 4–20 mA transmitter current signals to digital measurement values with integrated HART demodulation. Combined digital/analog measurement data packaged and transmitted via DeltaV rack backplane bus to system main controller for integrated process monitoring logic execution.
