Working Principle

AC mains input voltage passes through EMC filter to bidirectional thyristor power stage. The control logic circuit modulates thyristor conduction phase angle to adjust effective RMS voltage supplied to single-phase fan motor. Lower output RMS voltage reduces motor rotational speed; higher RMS voltage increases fan airflow volume. Analog 0–10V external signal modulates phase-angle offset for automatic closed-loop ventilation control.
