Functional Features

  1. Fully unmanaged plug-and-play architecture; zero software setup required after power-on
  2. Dual redundant DC power input eliminates single power supply failure point
  3. Hard relay alarm contact outputs remote fault signal to central PLC monitoring system
  4. Auto speed negotiation 10/100 Mbps, automatic full/half duplex detection on all copper ports
  5. Auto MDI/MDI-X eliminates requirement for cross-over Ethernet patch cables
  6. Wide -40°C to +75°C extreme temperature operation without cooling auxiliary hardware
  7. Rugged metal chassis resists industrial workshop dust, mechanical shock and vibration
  8. Isolated fiber uplink ports fully eliminate ground loop electrical noise interference between remote equipment nodes

Working Principle

Hardware-only ASIC switching chip performs wire-speed Ethernet packet forwarding without microprocessor control logic. Incoming copper/fiber port data frames are buffered and MAC address lookup executed in dedicated hardware table; frames forwarded directly to target output port without CPU processing delay. Link status detection circuit continuously monitors optical fiber signal loss and copper port carrier signal loss, triggering dry relay contact closure for remote fault alert upon link or power failure event.

Material Composition & Structural Characteristics

  • Outer enclosure: Extruded aluminum alloy metal chassis with black oxidation anti-corrosion coating
  • Internal circuit board: FR4 industrial PCB with surge protection TVS diodes on all signal ports
  • Fiber port assembly: Precision molded SC fiber connector sockets with dust protective plastic caps
  • Power terminal block: Screw-clamp copper high-current DC input terminals
  • Mounting hardware: Integrated DIN rail clip mounting bracket on rear housing panel
  • Internal cooling: Passive convection aluminum heat sink on switching power circuit

Advantage Highlights

  1. Unmanaged design removes engineering configuration labor and firmware maintenance workload
  2. Dual redundant DC power input critical for uninterrupted industrial field network communication
  3. Extreme wide temperature range supports outdoor cabinet, freezing warehouse and high-temperature furnace side installation
  4. Dual multi-mode fiber ports enable ground-loop-free interconnection between electrically isolated machine zones
  5. Hard relay fault alarm provides hardware-level fault signal independent of network communication
  6. DIN rail direct mount fits standard electrical control cabinet layout without custom brackets

Applicable Industries

Factory automation assembly lines, oil & gas field remote I/O networking, wastewater treatment plant control networks, mining underground equipment communication, transportation tunnel monitoring systems, wind turbine local field bus networks

Installation Requirements

  1. Standard 35 mm DIN rail horizontal mounting orientation mandatory for optimal passive heat dissipation
  2. DC power wiring must use two independent separate power supply circuits for redundant power function activation
  3. Unused fiber and RJ45 ports must be sealed with factory supplied dust protective caps
  4. Minimum 15 mm vertical air gap required above and below unit cabinet installation
  5. Fiber cable routing separated minimum 20 cm from high-current AC power cable trunking

Usage Precautions

  1. Unit contains no user-serviceable internal components; disassembly voids factory product warranty
  2. Do not connect single-mode optical fiber to multi-mode SC ports; permanent optical transceiver damage occurs
  3. Relay alarm contact rated maximum 0.5 A 30 VDC; external load exceeding rating burns relay contact terminals
  4. Direct exposure to water spray will cause short-circuit internal circuit damage (IP30 rating only dust protection)
  5. Power supply input voltage outside 12~48 VDC range triggers continuous link-down alarm relay state
