Working Principle

The module acts as bidirectional data gateway: collects all I/O module real-time data on ACN backplane, packages data according to configured industrial communication protocols and transmits to upper DCS via Ethernet/RS485 ports. Downwardly receives control commands from host system, converts protocol format and distributes target instructions to corresponding rack I/O modules via internal ACN bus. Dual Ethernet ports implement seamless redundant switching when primary communication link fails.

Installation Requirements

  4. Cabinet PE grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω to suppress communication interference
  5. Hot-swap allowed only when rack backplane bus is running normally
