Working Principle
Field 4–20 mA / 0–10 VDC process signals enter isolated signal conditioning circuits, undergo noise filtering via multi-stage RC filter networks, convert analog signals to digital values through 16-bit ADC chips. Processed digital data transmits to rack main controller via internal ACN backplane bus. The L-type enhanced shielding structure suppresses crosstalk induced by long field wiring cables, while hardware open-circuit monitoring circuits continuously verify loop integrity for all 8 channels.

Installation Requirements
- Install exclusively in Metso standard ACN CS series 8/16-slot control rack
- Mount module in rack slot with minimum 10 mm vertical ventilation gap between adjacent modules
- Field analog signal cables must adopt double-shielded twisted pair wiring; shield single-ended grounded at rack cabinet PE terminal
- Cabinet PE grounding resistance ≤ 4 Ω for full EMC performance activation
- Confirm rack backplane bus power supply stabilizes at 24 VDC before hot-swapping
- Maintain cabinet internal ambient temperature below 55 °C during continuous operation
Operation & Maintenance Precautions
- ESD wrist strap and anti-static mat mandatory during module disassembly and wiring
