Description
Functional Features:
- Built-in braking transistor (dynamic brake, no external resistor needed up to 2.0 kW)
- Safe Torque Off (STO): SIL2/SIL3 capable (IEC 61800-5-2)
- Absolute position backup: Battery-free (uses motor encoder memory)
- Vibration suppression: Adaptive notch filter
Performance Parameters:
- Positioning accuracy: ±1 encoder pulse
- Velocity response bandwidth: 1.5 kHz
- Maximum pulse input: 4 Mpps
- Regenerative energy: Up to 100% rated power (internal dissipation)
- Operating temperature: 0°C to +45°C
- Dimensions: 140 mm × 250 mm × 264 mm (W × H × D)
Material Composition: Aluminum die-cast housing, IGBT power modules (6th gen, 1200 V / 25 A), FR-4 multi-layer PCB
Structural Features: Front-panel LED indicators; push-in terminal blocks for power and motor; MECHATROLINK-II optical port; STO safety input terminals (24 VDC); emergency stop input
Working Principle: The drive receives motion commands via MECHATROLINK-II or pulse inputs. The servo loop (position/velocity/torque) computes the required motor current and drives the IGBT inverter at 8 kHz switching frequency. The built-in brake transistor dissipates regenerative energy internally during deceleration.
Advantages:
- Three-phase 200 V input for standard industrial power
- MECHATROLINK-II provides deterministic real-time communication
- Internal brake transistor simplifies wiring
Applicable Industries: Packaging machines, printing presses, textile machinery, material handling, general factory automation
Installation Requirements:
- Mount on vertical surface with 100 mm clearance above for ventilation
- Use 3-phase 200 V power with dedicated circuit breaker (16 A minimum)
- Connect MECHATROLINK-II optical fiber (maximum 50 m between nodes)
Usage Notes:
- Set motor parameters via auto-tuning before commissioning
- Verify STO circuit wiring per IEC 61800-5-2 before enabling safety function
- Clean air filter every 6 months in dusty environments
