Product Short Description

Product Introduction

This is a dedicated industrial speed monitoring module developed for rotating machinery protection systems. It is deployed in industrial control cabinets to collect pulse signals from speed sensors, calculate real-time rotational speed, execute over-speed, under-speed and stall protection logic, and transmit data and alarm signals to upper industrial control systems. It operates stably in continuous 24/7 industrial working conditions.

Working Principle

The module receives pulse signals generated by magnetic speed sensors installed on rotating shafts. The internal signal conditioning circuit shapes and isolates the input pulse signals, then the core processing unit converts pulse frequency into actual rotational speed value through fixed algorithm. The measured speed is compared with preset threshold values. When the speed exceeds over-speed limit, drops below under-speed limit or stays at zero speed, the internal logic circuit triggers alarm signals and drives relay contacts to act for equipment interlock or tripping. Real-time operating data and fault codes are displayed on the local panel and uploaded to the upper control system synchronously.

Applicable Industries

Thermal power generation, hydroelectric power, petrochemical, metallurgy, cement manufacturing, wind power, water supply and drainage, large fan and pump unit protection

Installation Requirements
  1. Mount the module on standard 35 mm DIN rail inside the industrial control cabinet and lock the fixing clip tightly.
  2. Reserve 10 mm gap between adjacent modules for natural heat dissipation.
  3. Complete all wiring after power cut; strictly distinguish power lines, sensor signal lines and output interlock lines per official wiring diagram.
  4. Route signal cables separately from high-power power cables to avoid electromagnetic interference.
  5. Keep the installation area away from heat sources, liquid splashing and corrosive gas.
Usage Notes
  1. Operate strictly within the rated voltage, temperature and humidity range.
  2. Do not disassemble the enclosure; internal components have no user-serviceable parts.
  3. Check terminal tightness and indicator status periodically during operation.
  4. Clean dust on the module surface regularly to avoid heat dissipation failure.
  5. Cut off total power supply before parameter modification or wiring adjustment.
  6. Stop related equipment and troubleshoot immediately when fault indicator lights up.
